Hamas Spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanou said that if the Israeli occupation dares follow through with its threats of a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Resistance will shock the Israeli occupation forces just as it shocked them in Operation Al-Aqsa Strom on October 7.
The Palestinian Resistance, said al-Qanou, has the capabilities to thwart this ground attack, indicating that this being a known issue, the occupation appears to be rethinking this step, Al Mayadeen reported.
Al-Qanou also stressed that while the West appears to grant the foreign captives being held in the Gaza Strip a great deal of attention, there are clear double standards when it comes to the two million Palestinians suffering under the ongoing Israeli aggression.
Regarding the issue of the entry of only 20 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip today through the Rafah border crossing, al-Qanou indicated that before the aggression and the tightening of the siege, about 500 trucks loaded with various goods were entering Gaza on a daily basis.
Sources revealed on Saturday that the Rafah border crossing has opened to allow the entry of the first trucks carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza from Egypt. Among the aid packages are medical supplies and other things not specified yet.
While the Rafah gate was expected to open on Friday to allow the humanitarian aid in, it did not despite the dire need for it, as reported by CNN, according to numerous sources.
